With a verticle drop of 292 feet (89 m) and 25 acres (10 hectares) of skiing area, Mission Ridge offers skiers and snowboarders an excellent facility in beautiful surroundings.

A snowmaking machine brings the equivalent of 100 inches (254 cm) of annual snowfall to the hill with snowmaking accounting for about 99 percent of this. Total number of lifts is four of which one is a Chair lift, one is a T-bar lift, and two are Handle Tows. Total capacity is 2,000 people per hour.

The number of trails at Mission Ridge is nine. The longest run, the Half-Mile Highway, measures 2,600 feet (792 m). A system of ratings, rates the trails as: Easiest, 40%; More Difficult, 30% and Most Difficult, 30%. These trail ratings indicate the relative difficulty of the runs.

In addition, there's the Terrain Park at the bottom of Stage West, and two more Easiest runs--the Bunny Hills on either side of the Handle Tows.

The Day Lodge is the centre of activities for Mission Ridge. It is the home of Bubba's @ Mission, an excellent restaurant with a varied menu which includes that all-time favorite--Pizza. Lift passes and equipment rentals may also be purchased there, or one can just sit and enjoy the sunshine and the view.
